Dr. Sean M. Miles, MD

Dr. Sean M. Miles is a Board Certified Family Physician. He grew up in nearby LaGrange, GA where his family instilled strong values and taught him the importance of education and good work ethic. Dr. Miles graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Chemical Engineering before going on to medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. He then completed an internship and residency in Family Medicine at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. Since then he has been in practice as a family physician for over 20 years.

Dr. Miles strives to provide the best medical care in an office that patients enjoy visiting. He believes that patients deserve more time and attention to their health than the traditional hospital-owned practice can provide. This ideal medical home is what inspired Dr. Miles to become a physician and open Miles Family Medicine.

Dr. Miles enjoys many areas of medicine. He chose the specialty of Family Medicine because of the variety of people and medical conditions encountered on a daily basis. Some of his areas of special interest include Preventive Health, Adolescent Medicine, Dermatology, Laser Hair Removal and other Aesthetic Procedures, and Ultrasound-guided Tendon and Joint Procedures. Dr. Miles was first credentialed in musculoskeletal ultrasound by the ARDMS and Registered in Musculoskeletal Sonography (RMSK) in 2014.

Dr. Miles lives here in Newnan with his wife and son. In addition to medicine, Dr. Miles enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing the guitar, gardening, attending Georgia Tech sporting events in Atlanta, and occasionally dabbling in fiction writing.
